SDC#88-Text all about it

Hello.  I just love the bunnies from artist Maria Sabina Raita.  Today I am featuring Zara's Party.  All of the fun little bunnies can be found at Stampotique Originals.

This weeks challenge is by my teamie Libby.  She wants us to use "text" in our projects.  If you will notice my "Thank you" is the same font as found in news print text.

My card is also for Color Me Creative.  This weeks challenge is to make a girly card.  But I am featuring this card using the last challenge...texture.

Paper Pretties Challenge: New Technique

Hello!  Today I have a fab tutorial on how to do triple stamping!!!!

It features this adorable stamp from Paper Pretties.
Lets get right to it!

Cut 3 sizes of paper.  Make sure they graduate evenly.  My large square is 3.5 inches, medium 2.5 and small 1.5 inches.  Stack layers and center.  Secure all three with removable adhesive.  Stamp your image in the center of the stack of three.

Color image (and or airbrush as I did!) and then remove adhesive.

Mat all three squares.

Realign the matted layers and secure with permanent adhesive.

Here is my finished card.

Please come and play with us at Paper Pretties Blog.

PPRS- Grateful for you!

Good morning everyone.  Hope you all are having a nice Monday off.  I actually slept in this morning!!!!
Today Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps has a great group of projects to share from the whole team.  We have inspiration every Monday and Thursday.
I used the Maple and Oak Leaf Clear stamp set and the coordinating Oak and Maple leaf die.  I LOVE how crisp the die cuts make the edges of the paper.  They really are top quality.

My paper is Authentique "Thankful" and is a perfect match for this card LO and stamp set.

Thanks for joining me today.  I am always "Grateful" for your nice comments.

The final curtain call!

I have a very bittersweet good bye to my favorite DT.  The Cutting Cafe has been my creative "go to" for the past 8 months.  Regina is one of the most generous people I have ever met.  She has an abundance of talent...and by far the COOLEST digital/cutting files around!  Thanks so much Regina for allowing me to be on your team.  You know I will be watching for the DT call in 4 months!  All the new/oldies have a wonderful time on the DT!  You are all very lucky to have Regina as a boss!

Do you love this cute Stationary Box (I used it as an M&M box)?  Well I am giving it away!  All you have to do is comment!  I will pick a random comment on Saturday September 3, 2011.  Good Luck.  All the other girls on the DT are giving away a set too!  Hop to The Cutting Cafe Blog and it will lead you to the other members of the team!  There are 11 chances to win.  All you have to do is comment on each individual team members post on their personal blogs!

This adorable box is also for the Paper Pretties Challenge this week.  Anything but a card!   This is my last post as a Guest Designer with the Paper Pretties girls.  I really enjoyed my time with this group.  Thank you to Heather and Francis both!

You're a Lifesaver!

There is another Hoedown at the Hambo Stamps blog.  Have you been???  You will receive a free digi to play in next weeks challenge after entering your project featuring a Hambo stamp this week!  Plus you get a chance at winning this week!  Can't beat that!  I don't know of any other company who gives away a free digi just for playing!  Hope you can join us!

For my Hambo project this week I have gone in a different direction than a card.  I have made this adorable little pillow box.  It has a window!  You can find the template at The Cutting Cafe.  I used the life guard stand stamp with the You're a lifesaver sentiment

My picture didn't come out fabulous like usual!  So sorry :0(
I will give all the details of this card when I return from my trip.

I am the Guest!

Good morning!  I am so excited to be doing this post for one of my favorite companies....Paper Pretties!  Heather...the new owner picked me as a July/August Guest Designer way back in December.  I am really excited to be a temporary part of this fantastic team!  Thanks so much Heather!

Today's challenge over at the Paper Pretties Blog is a Sketch Challenge.  This was a really fun sketch.  I picked this adorable little girl named "Giving Thanks Sophia".  The DP was a gift from Heather at  Paper Pretties...just perfect for the backdrop of this sweet Sophia.

This Sophia's dress is another example of adding pleats to a flat stamp.  It really gives the feel of a little more a of dimensional image.  For more terrific examples please visit  Color Me Creative

Paper: Provided by Heather
Stamps: Giving Thanks Sophia (Paper Pretties)
Extras: Copics, paper flowers(Recollections), brads
